I absolutely LOVE this place! Food is great. Service is spectacular. Atmosphere is good but admittedly I am not a huge fan of the dark, cluttered, tavern-vibe but I know some people like that feel and it's definitely not a deal breaker for me. Burgers are fresh and delicious. I LOVE that they give you a tray with burger toppings/dressing/etc so that you can make the burger your own. Lots of options for cold beer too.

Was definitely not what I expected. was planning on eating and having a few beers but was nothing more than just a local hole in the wall. Limited beer on tap. The bar keep was also the chef. We didn't eat there so I can't speak on the quality of the food, but it certainly was a very unappetizing place.

Good food at a good price. Burgers are some of the best in town. Service is top notch as well! Definitely recommend stopping in for a drink

A true "good old tavern". Clean, good atmosphere and friendly staff. Pool tables plenty of seating. A good menu with plenty of variety. We will visit again.

We picked up lunch today, March 29, 2020. Delicious!!! I had the Berns 1/4 Burger....I devoured it. My husband tore through his Mini Tacos, and my aunt had a smile the entire time eating her 1/2 Chicken and JoJo's. Finger licking good.Support local. Especially in this uncertain time. Can't wait to order again.

Nice eclectic location with good prices if you just want a burger and drink. With fries/onion rings and a drink you will be paying around 11 dollars.As for the food. I had the jalapeno burger with opinion rings. Both very good in taste and quality. This is a throw back style bar that has a chill atmosphere. They have a special pickling process used on jalapeno and a hot mustard they make. I'll be back when in the area.

Very friendly service. The food was delicious. My husband and I got the jalapeno Swiss and the Hawaiian burgers with a large fries to share. Beers on tap were just as tasty. Thank you Bern's for a tasty stop out of a windy, cold day!

A little bar in a Charming little community

Enjoyed the atmosphere very much. Food was also very good.

It's a dive bar in a dive town. I had a beer, it was cold and the glass wasn't hot right out of the dishwasher. I didn't order food at all, but I've heard from people that the burgers are decent. I happened to be there when the owner was tending bar, and he was friendly and talkative. If I lived in the area I would probably be there frequently for cheap drinks and greasy food.

I was born in this town, moved to a farm between Sunnyside and Grandview in 61,graduated from Sunnyside, but remember Bern's n Dyke's tavern around the corner n had cherry cokes at Phil's corner drug ,The Golden Rule clothing store my dad worked for the city for 5years, my mom worked at Old National Bank for 36years before US Bank bought them out, I worked for Benton REA for awhile, when visiting my mother, I have been to Bern's to play pool with my old M/C riding friends, you can tell when I'm there cuz I'm not hard to find, just look for a 6' 2" Biker with long white beard n red n white polka dot welders hat! Later when the moon shines.

Very nice divey sports bar. The booths have individual televisions and there is a stage for live music. The ordering system is a bit odd and you'll need them to explain it to you the first time you go.

Dive bar! Excellent service, full of the local crowd. 2 pool tables, internet jukebox. I always recommend it to people visiting.

The food was fine. Pretty typical bar/tavern food. It took a long time to get to use though. Seemed clean though. Drinks will very but mine were fine.

Good Food!

Walked in and sat at the bar.Sat there for 10 minutes without even an acknowledge that we were there. (3 of us). Cant talk about the food or beverage because we left. The service SUX!

Best hamburgers in Prosser. Pretty much the best deep fat fried seafood in Prosser. Drinks and beers and mass quantities of good conversation are to be had with Darren and Carla Dodson owner's of Bern's tavern. Not only a warm reception is to be had but occasionally Secretary of State Mattis has been known to throw back a few at Bern's. General Mattis hales from Richland and likes Darren's establishment!

Staying at the Best Wester in Prosser ordered takeout from Bern’s Tavern excellent food priced reasonably priced, quick delivery. Looking forward to the end of these difficult times so we can actually go there in person. Best delivery food I have ever had. THANK YOUHerb and Sandy Beitel
